Basic Skills Classes
Glass Cutting 101$30 No experience required. In this two-hour class, we will cover basic glass cutting skills including tools, safety, and pattern cutting. This is a great class for beginners or those just looking to increase their skills.
Soldering Basics$35 Struggling with soldering? This basic foundations class will help you learn how to make a smooth bead. Bring in foiled pieces and we will work together as a group to increase our skills. Bringing tools and supplies is helpful to understanding your results.
Stained Glass Repair $40 Bring your broken stained glass and we will discuss technqiues for repairing and replacing broken glass. Class will include discussion, demonstration, and some work time. Repairs are to be finished at home. Questions are encouraged and will enhance this workshop.
Stained Glass Classes
Beginning Stained Glass Intensive $150 class fee, $25 registration fee + glass and supplies
This class is a comprehensive study of the copper foil method and is geared towards someone seriously considering working in stained glass. The first 2 hours are "semi-private" : two students and one instructor and is held by appointment. It will be before/after store hours. You will learn about safety, tools, setting up your board, and cutting techniques. After the first 2 hour session, you may make a reservation for studio time during retail hours. This flexible format allows you to work at your own pace. Instructors are available for guidance. Foiling, soldering, and finishing techniques will be covered on an individual basis. A $25 fee is due at time of registration. Then, stop in to choose one of our pre-approved patterns and glass prior to your class date. If you do not have someone to take the class with you, we will pair you with another student. Please call to join the waiting list. A textbook is included with this class.
Lead in a Day $90 This one-day, 5 hour class is a great starter project. You will make a leaded glass piece 8” x 10” using clear glass. Learn leading, soldering with lead, framing, glazing and polishing. Limit 4 students. Beginning Stained Glass is required.

Stained Glass in a Day $40 During this 3 hour class, you will learn the very basics of stained glass. This is a great opportunity for those of you who wish to try stained glass without a huge investment. Use bevels and your choice of glass to create this cute sun catcher.
Beginning Lead$175 All materials included! In three weeks, build a basic lead panel from our design. Learn to set up your board, use lead came, and glaze. These techniques will prepare you for future lead projects. This class will run for three consecutive weeks. Stained Glass Experience Required!
Beginning Panel Lamp$175 Choose from one of three panel lamp patterns. Class fee includes instruction and the vase cap. Class fee does not include glass or supplies. Learn to set up your board, tin a vase cap, assembly, and other tricks. This class runs for four consecutive weeks. Limit 4 students. Stained Glass Experience Required!
Fusing Classes
Fused Glass Pendants$90 This is our intro to fusing class. All materials included! Create 10 glass cabochons that can be made into jewelry pendants. Learn firing theory, assembly, and proper bail attachment. Prism will fire your pieces. You pick them up a few days later. *Cutting Clinic is recommended. After completion of this class you will be eligible to take our other fusing classes.
Fused Picture Frame $70 Create and decorate a fused glass picture frame that will be mounted on a wooden frame. You will construct one 5x7 frame and you may use the negative space inside the frame to create jewelry, elements, or an ornament, whatever you like.
Nugget Madness $55 Use Spectrum fusible glass nuggets and dots to create ornaments, pendants, broaches, crosses, and other small elements. Let your imagination be your guide. All Materials Provided (includes firing). No experience necessary.
Fused Plate and Napkin Holder$85+Glass This project class allows for a quick taste of slumping and fusing. We will provide decoration elements for your creation. Purchase your glass prior to class and we will take care of the technical stuff. Basic cutting and fusing experience required.
Fused Funky Clock $85 + Glass These clocks are so cute and would make a great gift. Prism provides the clock works, firing, instruction, and decorative elements. Please, purchase glass prior to class. See our numerous examples in store. Class runs one night. Pickup and assembly scheduled individually during class.

Specialty Jewelry $55 This class is for experienced fusers only. You will learn three exciting jewelry techniques that you can incorporate into your fusing. Capture a bubble, use dichroic as a mosaic, and more. Although this is not a project class, you will walk away with 6 beautiful test pieces that allow you to practice your newfound knowledge. All materials are included. Cutting skills required.
Fused Christmas Ornaments$90 Fill a tray with any combination of Christmas trees, balls, stockings, Santas, snowmen, and more. Use Prism’s decorative elements and your creativity to make some beautiful ornament and/or gifts. Personalize your holiday décor. Cutting skills required, previous fusing experience is recommended.
Carvable Mold Making Seminar $60
This seminar will demonstrate how to use Kaiser Lee Board. This carveable board will allow your creativity to run wild. View projects that have utilized this technique. Learn how cutting, sanding, and arranging this board can help you to create exciting and unique molds for your fusing addiction. *Receive 15% off your Kaiser Lee purchase during this class.
Fused Candle Cozy & Dish$85 + Glass Create a beautiful candle cozy and coordinating base dish that can be displayed together or used separately. This quick slumping and fusing project is functional, beautiful, and fun. We will provide decoration elements for your creation. Purchase your glass prior to class and we will take care of the technical stuff. Basic cutting and fusing experience required.
Fused Clock$95
"Make Time for Fusing!" Create a 6" fused glass tile that will become a clock you can be proud of. You will learn how to drill a hole in glass & how to assemble a clock. All Materials Included. Limit: 6 students. Fusing experience required. This class will be held in one session with an additional meeting time required to assemble the clock.
Fused Fan Lamp$95
This is an intermediate class for previous fusers. Create a fan lamp using fusing techniques. Choose from patterns we provide or create your own. Most materials will be provided including stringers, confetti, noodles, scrap glass, and firing. (Fan lamp base and Specialty materials such as dichroic will be available for purchase)There may be some homework. Pre-requisite: Cutting skills and fusing experience is required!
Fused Garden Ornament$95 All materials included! Very similar to the jewelry class only bigger! Express your creativity on a glass palette. Learn firing theory, assembly, and wire inclusions. Incorporate your art into other projects or make a great garden accessory. Prism will fire your pieces for pickup a week later.
Frequent Fusers Club$6/ea This studio time is for individuals who desire to make pendants after they have taken our Fused Pendant Class. A selection of either System 96 or Bullseye will be provided on alternating basis. Embellishments are also provided. Instruction and bails are not included. Reservations required.
Fused Tile$90 An intermediate class to take fusing skills to the next level. Make 3 tiles of your design. All materials included. Limit 6 students.
Fused Wind Chime$90
You do the artwork and we’ll supply the glass, instruction, and firing to make one beautiful fused glass wind chime for your garden or home. All Materials Provided. Previous cutting and fusing skills preferred, but not required.

Stepping Stone$75 All materials included! In just one day learn to create a beautiful Stepping Stone. Using our pre-cuts and nipped glass, your pieces will be poured and done in just a few hours. A fun introduction. No experience necessary. Limit 6 students.
Mosaic$85 All Materials Included! Use nuggets, glass, and grout on a quality wood frame to create a work of art using the direct method.Pattern provided or be creative! Limit 6 students. *Note: Glass cutting skills not required but encouraged.Some homework! (2 weeks).
Private Classes
Private classes can be designed for adult groups.We can accommodate work organizations, family groups, and special event get-togethers!Choose from one of our existing class descriptions, or we can work with you to modify a class to meet your needs. This is private or semi-private time between you and either Sharon or Julie. Let us know what you would like to learn, and we will organize a class, demonstration, or other arrangements if needed. This a great opportunity for those of you who need help in a specific area, like learning cutting, soldering, or repairs. It is also useful for people just looking to increase their skills and knowledge, like how to make your own fusing/slumping mold, working with dichroic, how to prepare a mold, etc. Pricing and availability will vary.
